Privacy Notice (KVKK)

1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by Best Oyuncak (Istanbul, Türkiye) as the data controller. You can reach us at info@bestoyuncak.com or on +90 212 613 5198.

2. Personal data processed

If you fill in the contact form on our website, the following data is processed:

• Identity: full name
• Contact: email address, phone number (optional)
• Organisation: company or school name (optional)
• Request: the topic you choose and the content of your message
• Security: your IP address. Our website does not store it; it is held in server memory for at most an hour, only to prevent abuse of the form (spam, flooding). It may appear for a limited time in the server access logs of our hosting provider, for technical security.

3. Purposes

• Receiving, assessing and answering your requests for quotes, product information, school and institution orders and other questions
• Contacting you about your request
• Keeping the website and the contact form secure and preventing abuse

4. Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds in Article 5(2) of KVKK:

• Receiving and answering requests for quotes, orders and product information: processing the personal data of the parties to a contract is necessary, provided it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of that contract (point c)
• Answering your other questions and contacting you: processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (point f)
• Keeping the website and the contact form secure: processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller (point f)

5. How the data is collected

Your personal data is collected electronically, by automated means, when you fill in the contact form on our website.

6. Transfers

Your personal data is not sold and is not shared with third parties for marketing.

Our website and email service are hosted by Hostinger. The data you send through the contact form is kept on that provider's servers located outside Türkiye, solely so that it can be stored and delivered to us.

Apart from this, your data may only be disclosed to legally authorised public authorities on request, to the extent required by law.

7. Retention

Messages sent through the contact form, and the copies forwarded to our mailbox, are kept for at most 2 years from the date they are sent and are deleted at the end of that period. If your request leads to a contract, the related data may be kept for the periods required by law.

8. Cookies

Our website sets no cookies for visitors and uses no advertising, analytics or tracking tools. A single strictly necessary cookie keeps the session of authorised staff signed in to the admin panel.

9. Your rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK you may apply to the data controller to:

• learn whether your personal data is processed,
• request information about it if it is,
• learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used for that purpose,
• know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred,
• ask for it to be corrected if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
• ask for it to be erased or destroyed under the conditions in Article 7 of KVKK,
• ask for corrections, erasure or destruction to be notified to the third parties it was transferred to,
• object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis of the data,
• claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.

10. How to apply

Under the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you can send your requests in writing, by registered electronic mail (KEP), with a secure electronic or mobile signature, or by email to info@bestoyuncak.com from an email address you have given us before and that is recorded in our system (for example the one you used in the contact form).

Your application should include your full name, your signature for written applications, your Turkish ID number (or, for foreign nationals, your nationality and passport or ID number), your residential or business address for notifications, your email address and phone number if any, and the subject of your request.

Your application is answered as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest, free of charge. If the action requires an additional cost, the fee in the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged (KVKK Article 13).
